Step into a Johannesburg kitchen where two men confront the delicate dynamics of friendship, desire, and expectation. Through humour, tension, and raw honesty, the play examines performed masculinity, subtle homophobia, and the quiet emotional labour that shapes modern relationships. A bold, intimate exploration of love, identity, and the labour of being truly seen.
Written & Directed by Mbali Ndlozi · Dramaturgy by Sami Maseko · In collaboration with the National Arts Council (NAC) & PESP6

A man stands accused. The justice system becomes the force determined to swallow him. Gripping, psychological, necessary. Performed by Thabang Mooley and Talent Biyela. Available for gender justice screenings, educational licensing, and facilitated discussion sessions.

A Spotify channel operating on its own frequency — the queer one. The Velvet Free-Queer-ncy is a home for queer voices, queer stories, and queer ways of knowing that get crowded out everywhere else. Soft where it needs to be. Sharp where it has to be. Unapologetically itself.
Created and produced by Mbali Ndlozi under Bcoz Wow — part of a broader commitment to building visible, dignified, joyful queer media in South Africa.

Workshop · Available to Book
A creative writing workshop created specifically for queer bodies and women — two groups whose experience of intimacy has been consistently written about rather than written by. This is the space where that changes.
What It Is
A facilitated creative writing experience exploring how we write about bodies, desire, vulnerability, and identity — from the inside. Participants leave with original work and a new relationship to their own voice.
Who It's For
Queer bodies and women. A brave space — not a safe space — brave enough to hold the full complexity of those identities and the intimacy they carry.
Format
Half-day or full-day. In-person (Johannesburg) or online. Facilitated by Mbali Ndlozi. Maximum 20 participants.
Intimacy is not just romantic. It is the body in language. What we allow ourselves to describe, to name, to claim. This workshop creates conditions for participants to write the things they haven't been given permission to write.
Book This WorkshopBcoz Wow is available for corporate engagements, school programmes, organisational partnerships, and community events. We bring the work — you bring the room.
